Attention burger addicts of central Arkansas: It’s about to get a whole lot easier for most of you to get your spicy Korean kimchi and peanut butter burger on. BASH Burger Co. is adding a second food truck, and will be expanding to new locations in the very near future. This is good news for all of us. I got out to try the BASH team’s product a little while back and was impressed…you can read about it here.
We spoke with owner Ryan Ashcraft who confirmed that BASH will be putting the finishing touches on their new truck very soon. Their current gig is a stationary trailer camped out in a parking lot in Benton off Military Dr. It’s not a bad arrangement, and the people of Saline Co. have been pleased with what BASH has had to offer. But their relatively immobile operation has meant that they could not get to Little Rock or Conway for any of the popular food truck meet-ups and other special events.
Ashcraft says, “We have been overwhelmed with the support from our local community. We have been looking to get into doing events and meet-ups for some time, and have really wanted to tap into the Little Rock and Conway areas. However, we can’t leave our customers behind in Benton, since they are the ones who helped us get started and have pushed us this far. So we decided the only way to do this would be to keep our original truck in its current location and purchase a second trailer. We are very excited to meet new people and expand into other areas of the state.”
BASH has developed quite a following among Saline county residents with their interesting and unique burger combinations. It’s a menu full of surprises that I imagine will go over quite well with the Little Rock food-truck junkies.
Keep an eye on BASH’s Facebook page for updates on when the new truck is launching. You can visit their current operation at 2122 S. Military Rd., Benton (501- 602-0500).
