8 Great Food Deals and Values in Hillcrest

Great deals and values are all around us here in Little Rock. You just have to be willing to look for them. Here are eight you won’t want to miss, all located in Hillcrest.
Classic Kouign Amann at Mylo Coffee Co.
Three bucks is a small price to pay for the best and most extremely sought after pastry in Little Rock. The dark chocolate is $3.50 and the pear costs $4. All are great, prepared with love and sure to delight.
Leo Burger at Leo’s Greek Castle
This sizable ½-lb. burger comes with American cheese, mustard, mayo, lettuce tomato and pickles and at $6.89, it will not only fill you up, but tastes good in the process.
Specials at Ciao Baci
Ciao Baci is one of those restaurants you really need to follow on Facebook. Be on the lookout for cool specials along the lines of this one: “It’s Wednesday and that means happy hour all night long so stop by for 5$ naughty lemonade, sangria, or creamed spinach dip w pita chips.”
The Squash Blossom Veggie Sandwich at Hillcrest Artisan Meats
Every sandwich at H.A.M. is awesome, but if you’re looking to save a few bucks (and calories), opt for the Squash Blossom. At $7.50, it’s hard to beat this sandwich. It’s made with fresh sprouts, red onion, avocado, and pepper jack cheese.
Slice of Cheese Pizza at Damgoode Pies
I’ve given this pizza chain a hard time in the past, but $3 for an oversized slice of cheese pizza is a pretty damn good deal, and you can add an extra topping for an additional 50 cents.
Veggie Burger at Solfood Catering
Granted, they don’t have a brick and mortar, but you’ll usually find the ladies on Saturday morning at the Hillcrest Farmers Market. I just don’t think you’ll find a better veggie burger in town. And it only costs $6.
Chicken 65 at Banana Leaf
It’s not a huge portion, but for $4-$5, the Chicken 65 at Banana Leaf is executed to a crispy and very spicy perfection. But be prepared, you’ll also need to buy a bottle of water.
Three-Course Meal at Acadia
Did you know Acadia offers a three-course fixed price meal? Gosh, I really wish more places in town followed suit. It’s available Monday-Saturday and costs $25.75 per person (Soup-Salad-Entrée, Soup-Entrée-Dessert, or Salad-Entrée-Dessert).
