BASH Gourmet Burgers and More, a food truck that plans to serve the Benton/Bryant area, is set to open in about six weeks.
“BASH is a gourmet burger trailer that plans to be located on Highway 5 in Bryant. We are currently still trying to lock down the exact location, but we are looking at either the Goodwill parking lot or down a block or two in the shopping center lot. We plan to open June 6 with a soft grand opening June 5,” says co-owner Ryan Ashcraft.
Ashcraft, along with co-owner Chase Turner, has purchased a trailer and is in the middle of making updates. The work, which includes a new paint job and the purchasing of a few replacement appliances, is being assisted by a Kickstarter program. According to the Facebook page, “If we reach $6500 we will also be purchasing a frozen drink machine. All of the funds raised will be used to purchase these items and complete the renovation.”
BASH is already having a little fun on its social media. For every 1000 likes it receives on Facebook, the food truck will give away a certificate for free burgers for a year. Winners will receive a card that will allow them to receive one free burger every week for a year. Approximate retail value of $367.45.
As for the food…
“At BASH we strive to give the customer the highest quality burger at a good price. We use the freshest toppings we can get combined with freshly ground in-house beef, our proprietary blend of seasonings which we get locally, all on top of a buttery brioche bun that comes from a local bakery. We will also be selling chicken wings and tenders as well. We only serve fresh, bone-in naked wings but have an offering of nine different house made sauces ranging from the very mild to very, very hot,” says Ashcraft.
Below is a tentative menu.
