Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co Coming to Square

Yellow Rocket Concepts is growing its Northwest Arkansas presence yet again by expanding their Heights Taco & Tamale concept to Bentonville in the form of Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co.
Bentonville Taco & Tamale will take over the 5600 sq ft location at 101 W Central Ave on the downtown square in the space previously occupied by Fiamma which closed abruptly earlier this year.
The original Taco & Tamale concept opened in Spring 2015 in the Little Rock Heights neighborhood. The concept featured an “Ark-Mex” cuisine that is a blend of Delta, Tex-Mex, and a number of dishes near and dear to the hearts of Arkansans. Since then it has gone on to win numerous awards and national acclaim, especially over their cheese dip.
The Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co will stick with the same formula as the Little Rock location along with expanded salad and starter menus.

This is Little Rock-based Yellow Rocket Concepts third restaurant in Northwest Arkansas. They previously opened locations of their burger driven Big Orange restaurant and Local Lime, a Cali-Mexican style concept.
Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co is expected to open sometime this fall, we will have a preview of the new concept once the time gets closer.

Yellow Rocket ConceptsTM (YRC), the Little Rock, AR based proprietary restaurant group of concepts ZAZA Fine Salad & Wood-Oven Pizza Co., Big Orange, Local Lime, Heights Taco & Tamale Co., and Lost Forty Brewing, is thrilled to announce our newest restaurant project – Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co. (BTT). BTT will be located on the Bentonville Square at 101 W. Central Ave., Bentonville, AR 72712. The new Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co. location is 5600 sq.ft. and will seat approximately 145 guests in a friendly, vibrant, and casual space featuring a full bar, general dining, and private dining spaces. The opening is slated for Fall 2020.
Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co. is a Northwest Arkansas iteration of Heights Taco & Tamale Co. (HTT) which is located in the historic Heights neighborhood of Little Rock, AR. Since its 2015 opening, HTT has accumulated a multitude of awards each year from in-state, regional, and national publications ranging from Best Cheese Dip in the State, Best Tacos in Arkansas, Best Service, Best Mexican in the State, Most Fun Restaurant, Best Margaritas in Little Rock, and Best New Restaurant. In 2018 HTT was featured on many media channels including the Washington Post and CNN for settling a heated Texas vs. Arkansas Cheese Dip debate on the U.S. Senate floor (in which HTT claimed victory for Arkansas!). Additionally, HTT Executive Chef Scott McGehee was inducted into the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame as Proprietor of the year on Feb. 24th, 2020.
In addition to fan favorites, classic menu items, and an innovative seasonal cocktail program, BTT’s menu will feature expanded salad and starter dishes, hyper-local ingredients and beverage selections, house-made desserts, and rotating selections that are neighborhood inspired. The mouth-watering, Ark-Mex menu, created by YRC Executive Chef Scott McGehee, features dishes and flavors inpsired by the heritage of Arkansas-made and delta-influenced Mexican and Tex-Mex food. From house-made flour tortillas, to hand-formed delta-style tamales, to locally grown produce – every plate at BTT will be served with the commitment to locally-produced goods, consistent quality, and excellent service that YRC restaurants are known for.
BTT is looking forward to continuing the tradition of Ark-Mex excellence established by sister restaurant Heights Taco & Tamale Co. in our newest Arkansas neighborhood location, and to serving Northwest Arkansas communities and families for many years to come.
