Cheesecake on Point Goes Brick and Mortar

There is nothing I love more in this industry than watching a genuinely great person work hard and succeed. That is exactly what Matcha Norwood has done since arriving on the scene with her Cinnalightful brand in 2017. Now she is ready to open the doors to her brick and mortar location under the Cheesecake on Point brand this Saturday.

Matcha started Cinnalightful back in 2017 working out of Arkitchen and watched the brand grow and succeed. In 2019 she launched a food truck venture at the Main Street Food Truck Festival called Cheesecake on Point. The success and growth of Cheesecake on Point has been exponential.

“We have grown rapidly since launching Cheesecake on Point,” Norwood explains. “We almost instantly had to get a bigger food truck, and now we are at the point where we have to have our own space to accommodate the growth.”

That new space opens this Saturday, May 8th, at  10am and will be located located at 9809 West Markham Suite B in Little Rock.

The new brick and mortar location will allow Cheesecake on Point to serve customers their standard cheesecakes six days a week. Wednesdays will feature special pastry focused items including cinnamon rolls, baked donuts, eclairs, macarons and other rotating offerings.

“I am so excited about the opportunities that moving into our own space will open up,” says Norwood. “We have been so blessed with the support from customers over the past few years. This will allow the Cheesecake on Point brand to grow in directions we never expected.”

They will still offer catering options as well as setting the truck up for special events.

Operating hours will be Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am – 6p, with extended hours on Wednesdays from 8am – 6pm, and open on Sunday from 12pm – 4pm. They will remain closed on Mondays. Inside there will be initial seating for up to 12 people.
