Delucas Pizzeria in Hot Springs has been the best pizza in the state for the past several years. Despite the almost hidden location on Park Avenue, people from around the state have made the pilgrimage to the dive to eat.
Now they are on the move to a prime location in the heart of a growing area of Hot Springs.
Delucas will move to 831 Central Avenue in Hot Springs. It is a growing area in popularity that includes a Core Public House next door, Craft Beer Cellar, and SQZBX brewery along with the core of Central Avenue eateries.
Owner Anthony Valinoti told us earlier this year that he was planning a move soon from the original location that suffered from poor parking. The move feels like a perfect fit for not only Delucas but the area of Hot Springs in general.
“It was probably the worst kept secret in history,” Valinoti says. “We have been looking for a move for some time and a friend was able to purchase the building at 831 Central. We still plan to keep the spirit of the original location alive and not change much.”
Construction is well underway and moving quickly. The last day at the old location will be September 29th and the new location is expected to open a few weeks later in mid-October.
The hours will remain the same, only major changes will be a full bar with a liquor license. After the first of the year, Valinoti says he may introduce more lunch hours and a late night bar menu.
We will preview the new spot closer to opening, release a final opening date, and keep you up with any changes as they happen.
