Happy hour – those two little words are a foodie’s jam. Whether you need a break after a hard day’s work or you just want to catch an early drink in the afternoon, Rock City has a multitude of delectable options for you to try. This go-round, we decided to focus on Happy Hours that include food specials, so gear up to satisfy both you food and drink needs.
Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom: Catch all-day Happy Hour on Tuesdays, and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday – Friday. Chose from bites to share on special – meatballs, brussel sprouts, and bacon, as well as specials on select draft beers, wines, and a cocktail special or two.
Baja Grill: Monday – Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. you can get a $1 off tacos, $4 house margs, $2 of specialty drinks and wine, as well as $1 off beers.
Local Lime: Monday – Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. enjoy $3 guacamole alongside a $5 house margaritas (on the rocks or frozen), or the beer of the month (staff’s choice) at $3.
Ciao Baci: Wednesday is all-day happy hour, and includes $4.50 well, $5.50 well martinis, $5 featured red or white wine by the glass, as well as a $5 cocktail special. Usually the kitchen also puts out a $5 small plate special – think homemade pate or a little comfort food to snack on.
The Fold Botanas & Bar: If you’re craving nachos or flautas head to the Fold in the early evening. Be on the lookout for a classic margaritas, frozen mai tais, blush wine, and Tecate – all also a part of the Happy Hour train.
Kemuri: From 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays, enjoy $5 red and white wine, $5 house sake, a $5 signature drink special, $3 domestic beer and plenty of food specials. Think $5 house rolls, tuna tacos, and robata soshito peppers, among other delicious delectables.
Pantry/Pantry Crest: Catch Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday, and all night on Mondays, at both locations. Get $3 Pilsner Urquell on draft, $1 off other drafts, wells starting at $4 and select wines at $5. Also, check out some eats – $4 truffled deviled eggs, brussels sprouts app, bacon-wrapped dates, and (West only) hummus. Enjoy $4.50 Pommes Frites, Cheese Spaetzle, and patés. The Pantry Crest also has a reverse Happy Hour for all you late-nighters out there.
Reno’s Argenta Cafe: Think daily specials at Reno’s. Mondays include all-you-can-eat wings, Tuesday’s are for $2 wells and $2 PBR. On Wednesday you can check out $1 tacos, $3 Dos Equis, and $4 margaritas. Thursday is Big-Ass Beer Day with 34 ounce beers for $6. What’s not to love?
Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro: The underrated Rivermarket spot features three rotating local taps at $4 from 11:00-6:00. Then grab all drinks and appetizers for $1 off from 4:00-6:00 during the week which includes their award winning cheese dip.
Zin Urban Wine and Beer Bar: On Wednesdays enjoy the $15 wine tasting which includes five different wines alongside free food pairings.
Table 28: The restaurant has a full Happy Hour menu on Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., which includes a variety of small plates. You can also enjoy $2 domestic beers and $5 house cocktails, house wines, well drinks, and draft beers.
Yaya’s Euro Bistro: Get $4 drafts, $5 wells, $6 cocktails, and wine by the glass from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays – Fridays. Don’t skip the many half-priced appetizers.
Heritage Grille Steak & Fin: Get happy from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Heritage Grille. Choose from $5 eats alongside $3.50 draft beer and $4 glasses of wine.
Khalil’s Pub & Grill: If you want half-off appetizers along with $1 off draft beers, well drinks, and wine by the glass, head to Khalil’s Mondays – Fridays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sushi Café: Get your sushi fix from Monday – Sunday 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There are tons of food specials – including $5 house wings and $3 truffle fries. Enjoy $1 off all bottled beers and $3 Koji sake, among other lovely specials.
Damgoode Rivermarket: Pizza + beer = <3. Happy hour specials from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. include half price on the house brews and $2 cheese slices.
West End Smokehouse and Tavern: Get $1 off all drinks and half-off appetizers Monday – Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Bar Louie: Enjoy select half price apps and flatbread Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. alongside $3.25 drafts, $4.25 select wines, and $5.25 signature martinis.
