Pending approved inspections, Ira’s Park Hill Grill (3812 JFK Blvd in the old E’s Bistro space) is set to open for dinner on Thursday, March 19 at 5 p.m. Dinner service will run through that weekend with a lunch service kicking off Tuesday, March 24.
Starting March 24, the restaurant’s hours of operation will be Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (lunch) and 5 p.m.-9 or 10 p.m. (dinner).
The possibility of a future regular Sunday brunch is also on the table. “Just give me a month,” says chef/owner Ira Mittelman.
Ira’s Park Hill Grill will be a casual fine dining concept while featuring menu items such as poblano pepper cheesecake (appetizer), stuffed chicken, lamb shanks, and a pork chop with mango habanero chutney. Ira’s also plans to have an extensive wine list and full bar. Speaking of the bar, patrons of the old E’s will notice a new granite bar, a feature that helps give the interior a fresh look. As previously mentioned, chef Elizabeth McMullen will also be assisting with dessert items.
Here’s hoping Ira’s gets off to a great start and delivers a can’t miss restaurant experience to a Park Hill area that so sorely needs one.
