Not everyone wants to slave away in their kitchen for 2 days in preparation for their Thanksgiving feast. For many reasons, a person may want to enjoy all those classic Thanksgiving foods without having to prepare them all from scratch. Luckily, several area restaurants around town will be serving some fantastic Thanksgiving meals. All you have to do is show up, eat, and pay the bill…no fuss and no clean up.
This list definitely doesn’t represent every restaurant in town open on Turkey Day…but here’s some options we were able to round up. Note: several of these require (or strongly recommend) reservations, so please call before you go.
Arthur’s Prime Steakhouse: One of Little Rock’s premier steakhouses will be offering a Thanksgiving buffet featuring roasted turkey, baked ham, trimmings, and a dessert bar. They’ll be bringing in some of their “Ocean’s” magic, too, offering shrimp, sushi, and oysters as well. 10:30 am – 3:30 pm. Crowne Plaza: Thanksgiving buffet with turkey, prime rib, pork loin, smoked salmon, talapia, fried chicken, ham, salad bar, desserts, and much more. 11 am – 2 pm. Cost: $32 (adults), $28 (seniors), $18 (ages 6-12). Call for reservations: (501) 223-3000
Mimi’s Cafe: They’ll be offering some special menu items including turkey and all the trimmings with a few holiday desserts. 10 am – 8 pm. Call for reservations: (501) 221-3883
Riverfront Steakhouse: Thanksgiving buffet including turkey, Petit Jean ham, chicken, soups, omelets, waffles station, and desserts. 10:30 am – 2 pm. Cost: $21.95 (adults), $19.95 (seniors), $12.95 (ages 5-11), free for ages 5 and under. Call for reservations: (501) 907-4826
Ya Ya’s Euro Bistro: Thanksgiving Day buffet includes ham, turkey, prime rib, salads, cornbread, cheesecakes, pumpkin pie and more. 10 am – 3 pm. Cost: $29.95 (adults), $13.95 (ages 10 and younger). Call for reservations: (501) 821-1144
Little Rock Marriott: Offering a Thanksgiving buffet with turkey, Petit Jean ham, prime rib, a breakfast station, sides galore, and desserts. Cost: $45 (adults), $16 (ages 6-11), ages 5 and under are free. Call for reservations: (501) 399-8000
Capital Bar & Grill: They’ll have a few Thanksgiving day specials including turkey with andouille sausage bread pudding, mashed potatoes with cranberry-orange compote, desserts, and apple butternut squash soup. 11 am – 9 pm. Copeland’s: Offering Cajun-style fried turkey, sweet potatoes, oyster dressing and more. 10 am – 5 pm. Call for details: (501) 312-1616
Cracker Barrel: They’ll be open their regular hours, serving a few special items for Thanksgiving: turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, dressing and more. Available at all locations.
Dixie Cafe: Regular menu, plus a few Thanksgiving day options including turkey or ham, cornbread dressing, and trimmings. All locations. 11 am – 5 pm.
Golden Corral: Their famous buffet, plus turkey, dressing, and a few more surprises (chocolate waterfall!) 10 am – 8 pm. All locations.
Luby’s: Regular menu, with the optional turkey and dressing dinner.
Mr Chen’s: If you really have no desire to eat turkey on Thanksgiving, Mr. Chen’s is open to serve you their very popular Chinese menu. It’s certainly not a bad way to go.
*New Update The Pizzeria at Terry’s: Opens at 6 Thursday for awesome pizzas and full bar.
*New Update Flying Saucer: If a liquid Thanksgiving is more your style, or you just need some after spending a day with family, Saucer opens at 5 p.m.
