Local Brunch Hot Spots To Treat Mom This Mother’s Day

At Del Frisco’s Grille moms are in for a treat. In addition to an off-menu Prime Rib special, moms will receive a complimentary $15 gift card for a return visit, and they get to take home their own Lemon Cake Jar, a dessert specially made on Mother’s Day baked and presented in a cute and crafty mason jar. SO Restaurant and Bar is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet Menu. Specials include Prime Rib, Green Bean Almandine, Potatoes Au Gratin, Salmon with Caper Dill Butter, Chicken Strips, Mac & Cheese, and much more. The buffet also boasts of an omelet and pancake station. There will be a Bloody Mary Bar, Blood Orange Mimosas, and Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries and Coconut Cream Pies for dessert. Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom is celebrating all the moms out there in conjunction with the nearby Bernice Garden Farmers Market Strawberry Festival. The eatery plans to run a special brunch menu highlighting the berries. Enjoy offerings from Strawberry Burrata, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with a Strawberry Compote, to Strawberry Pizza with Goat Cheese, Basil and Balsamic Glaze. There will be $6 Strawberry Mom-ossas, and $6.50 Strawberry Old Fashioneds.

Head down to Red Door or Local Luna to treat mom this Mother’s Day. The eateries will be offering their regular brunch service.
South on Main will be offering a special brunch menu that is sure to knock your socks off. Bonus, all the moms who stop by will receive a complementary dessert jar (one per table, with the purchase of an entrée) – a Strawberry Shortcake treat. The local staple won’t be taking reservations but it’s definitely worth it to “risk it for the biscuit.”

At The Corner is celebrating mom all weekend. On Saturday from 8:30 to 2 and on Sunday from 10 to 2, moms can enjoy a special menu and special drinks. No need to call ahead, as the eatery is not taking reservations.
There are a fair few beer brunch options to consider if Mom is a fan of brews.
Rebel Kettle Brewing Co. is hosting an all-day Mother’s Brunch from 11 to 5. From Crawfish Benedict, Gumbo Grit Cakes, Biscuits and Gravy, to Shrimp and Grits, and more – there’s something for everyone. Plus, there are festive beverages including: Mimosas, Mom-mosas, and the Heroe del Vaso Trabajadore – their Michelada.
If you’d rather, head to Lost Forty Brewing. The menu includes Drop Biscuits & Gravy and Belgian Bock-Bacon Waffles, among other delights. You can also enjoy a Beer’Mosa or two, or a Beer’Mary – the brewery’s take on a Bloody Mary. Get more info here.
Capital Hotel and One Eleven at the Capital is offering a whole weekend of festivities. On Saturday there will be a Mother-Daughter Tea from 11:30 to 2 at $35 per person ($45 per person, with a glass of champagne.) On Sunday, enjoy Breakfast on the Mezzanine, which includes a variety of stations – hot, cold, and breakfast. On Sunday there will also be a prix fixe menu at $65 per person. Offerings include Berkshire Pork Pie, Blue Shrimp, Diver Scallops, and more. Dessert sounds divine with a choice of Rhubarb Pie with Ice Cream, Espresso Crème Brulee with Lemon Madeleine and so many other options.
Catch more than a special brunch menu at Cache this year – you can also treat mom to flowers by Tipton and Hurst. When you call to book your Mother’s Day brunch reservation, you can also order one of three arrangements to be waiting on the table when you arrive this Sunday. Don’t forget Yaya’s Euro Bistro. Their brunch – an epic buffet – is an excellent option for mom. Choose from a variety of breakfast items, including Waffles, build-your-own Omelet, Eggs Benedict, French Toast, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, and more. There is also a live action Pasta station, a carving station featuring Prime Rib and Ham, Pot Roast, Potatoes, Vegetables, a variety of salads, Boiled Shrimp, Hummus and Pita, and Desserts.
