Mylo Coffee Changes Ownership

Mylo Coffee Co has been a Hillcrest staple long before the Mylo coffee shop ever was a dream. Owner Stephanos Mylonas was a regular fixture in the Hillcrest Farmer’s market starting around 2012-2013.
Since then Stephanos and his brother Markos were able to grow their perfectly crafted pastries and well-balanced coffee into one of the city’s best coffee shop and bakery. In the years that followed they have expanded, added coffee roasting, and won the hearts and bellies of everyone in Little Rock.
Change, however, is always inevitable. They have decided to sell the business and take a bit of a break.
“Both Markos and I are ready to move to new projects and the timing was perfect,” Stephanos told us.
Mylo will be in good hands however with experienced coffee shop owner Michael Hickmon taking over. Hickmon purchased Mugs Cafe in Argenta a few years ago and has experienced continuing the legacy of a successful location.
The Mylonas family put out an announcement this morning thanking the community for the success and the ability to serve them. Stephanos tells us they are going to take a break before deciding what plans to move forward with next.
