New Whole Foods Adds More Local Products to the Mix

In our previews and communication with the new Whole Foods on Bowman (opening today, 2/18) one of the things that intrigued us the most was the expanded local products in the new location.

Speaking with Whole Foods they have a local Forager (Kelly Landrieu) who is responsible for seeking out local companies and producers to include in the store. Thanks to the also announced Fayetteville Whole Foods this should get stronger over time, in fact you can easily see the NWA influence on many of the products.

While this is nowhere near a full list, here are some our favorite local products carried in the store. Whole Foods tells us to expect the list to change frequently as new suppliers are added.

Sweets and Snacks

Loblolly Creamery – Some of our favorite ice cream and it happens to be made right here in Little Rock. Whole Foods will carry all flavors which is a great thing.
