Following Saturday night’s 78-87 loss to North Carolina in the second round* of the NCAA tournament, projected 1st round NBA draft pick Bobby Portis is reportedly leaning toward returning to the Razorbacks for his junior season according to Democrat-Gazette sports reporter Bob Holt
Bobby Portis said after last night’ game he’s “leaning” toward returning to UA for his junior season, but no decision final.

This appears to be confirmed by sports writer Dudley Dawson who spoke with Portis about his plans:
Bobby Portis said after the game that he can’t wait to come back next year, get better and help get Arkansas deeper in the tournament

Sources tell Rock City that the change in heart came after consulting with head coach Mike Anderson following the game.
“Portis walked up to coach and asked what he thought about him about going pro now that the season is over,” our anonymous informant who may or may not be Alandise Harris tells us. “Coach just stared at him without saying a word for about 10 seconds. Portis said sorry for asking coach, I’ll be back.”
Sources also tell us to expect Michael Qualls back as well who received the same stare before even asking.
*Also, can we all agree that the first four games of the tournament does not count as a round?
