Rock City’s Hot Spots for Mother’s Day Brunch

Instead of trying to find mom the perfect item or thing for Mother’s Day, show her how special she is by creating memories over brunch. Little Rock has no shortage of options to check out on May 10, so prep your mimosa game, and be sure to call ahead as spots are filling up fast.
South on Main – Where else can you get Smoked Sunburst Trout and Breakfast Tacos under one restaurant roof? Among the other delectable treats from South on Main’s brunch, they will also offer a free dessert jar for mothers. Don’t miss this spread on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cache – The River Market staple will be hosting a special Mother’s Day Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a Bloody Mary Bar and music to boot. The accompaniment will be provided by Sixteen Strings Quartet. You’ll want a reservation on this one – call (501) 850-0265 for more information.
Arthur’s Prime Steakhouse – The restaurant will be offering an expanded Sunday Brunch Buffet for Mother’s Day. Highlighted items include Rib eye, Stuffed Pork Loin, Stuffed Turkey, items from the Sushi Bar, an Omelet bar, and even more. Call (501) 821–1838 to reserve a seat.

One Eleven at the Capital – In conjunction with Esse Purse Museum, One Eleven will be offering special Mother’s Day food events all weekend. On Saturday, May 9th from noon – 2 p.m. there will be a special Mother’s Day Tea. On Sunday there will be a special Mother’s Day Buffet Brunch at the Capital. Capital Bar and Grill – No reservations are needed for CBG’s Mother Day specials which will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The set menu includes a choice in appetizers, either Sweet Florida Corn Vichyssoise or Pickled Red Beet Salad; a choice between Pan Seared North Carolina Trout and Lemon Tea Brined Fried Chicken with Hot Honey Drizzle for the mains, and Banana Pudding or Chocolate Pot De Crème with Churros to finish. The price is $35 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
1620 Savoy – Reservations are now open for the restaurant’s special Mother’s Day Brunch. Highlights include a Tomato Basil & Goat Cheese Quiche, Pork Biscuit and Gravy, and a Filet Benedict. Red Door – Make it a Mother’s Day weekend at Red Door as brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Expect a slimmed-down set menu, without the usual pancakes and waffles, but full of the typical breakfast favorites.

Lost Forty Brewing – Each Sunday the brewery offers three breakfast items all day, one of which is a short stack of pancakes made with beer batter and topped with seasonal ingredients and house made syrups and sauces. For Mother’s Day they will take it up a notch, and will be offering Chocolate Covered Strawberries as a treat for the moms of the hour. Be on the lookout for their creative drink concoctions as well: BeerMosas made with fresh squeezed orange juice, and BeerMarys, a spin on a Bloody Mary made with the Lost Forty Pilsner.
DoubleTree in Downtown – From 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the DoubleTree downtown will offer an extensive Mother’s Day special brunch. The spread includes Eggs Florentine, Corn Flake Crusted French Toast, and Quiche Lorraine, among others. There will be an Omelet Station, a Salad and Cheese Station, a Carving Station and a Dessert Station. Price is $32 per person for adults and $16 for kids 12 and under, plus tax and gratuity.
Afterthought Bistro – Afterthought Bistro and Bar will have their traditional Sunday brunch for Mother’s Day along with a special Mother’s Day Mimosa, a surprise treat for the moms, and live Jazz by Lucas Murray, reservations recommended.
