One Eleven will be celebrating its one year anniversary the week of August 10-14 with some fabulous specials. All specialty coffees will be $1.11 and the Express Lunch will be $11.10 all week (regularly $17). At dinner service, One Eleven will be offering its version of a two-for-one deal. If one diner orders an appetizer, entree and dessert, the other diner will get an appetizer, entree and dessert for free. Diners must order a 3-course meal to take advantage of this special. Lagunitas Brewing Company Launch Week starts tonight at Piro Brick Oven & Barroom’s Happy Power Hour (4-6 p.m.) and during Samantha’s Christmas in July (7-9 p.m.). On July 16 from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., there will be a Tap Takeover benefiting Arkansas Food Bank at Big Orange Midtown, and on July 17 there will be a Lagunitas Landing at Flying Saucer. Third Thursday Food Truck Throwdown is tomorrow at CrossFit Legit in Benton (5-8 p.m.). This month’s line-up includes: Waffle Wagon, Fork in the Road, Slader’s Alaskan Dumpling Co., Hot Rod Wieners, The Pie Hole, Fathead BBQ, The Southern Gourmasian, Beast Food Truck, and Ice Meister Sno Cones. Both Hot Rod and The Pie Hole will be carrying Loblolly Creamery ice cream to cool you down.
“Melted Goodness” is this Friday at the Art Connection (204 E. 4th St, North Little Rock) from 5-8 p.m. The Loblolly Creamery truck will be parked in front of Art Connection during the Argenta Art Walk. “Purchase a few scoops of ice cream and then come inside Art Connection and create your own ARTisan sundae with art inspired toppings! You can also snap some photos in the fun photo booth, create your own ice cream art prints, or simply enjoy the art!”
Mo’ Betta Gumbo has added three new salads to its menu for the summer: Rampart Shrimp Salad made with homemade remoulade dressing, Chef Salad, and Chicken Tender Salad with homemade ranch dressing. There’s also half-price beer and wine every Tuesday and Wednesday night from 5 p.m.-close.

Local neighborhood nano-brewery Stone’s Throw Brewing plans to celebrate its second birthday with The Block on Rock Birthday Bash on August 1 from 3-10 p.m. (commemorating the opening of the onsite taproom to the public on August 1, 2013).
The Arkansas Brewers Fest is set for July 18 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. at the Arkansas State Fair. There will be sample brews from around the Natural State at this fundraiser for the Arkansas Brewers Guild. Regular admission (includes entry and 10 sample tickets) is $9.99 during online pre-sale and $15 at the gate. VIP admission (includes entry, 25 sample tickets, and souvenir tasting glass) is $19.99 during online pre-sale and $30 at the gate. Free, secure parking available within the Arkansas State Fair complex and food will be available for purchase.
