It’s five o’clock somewhere, meaning it’s always a good time to get your drink on! The best time to drink though is during happy hour.
This list was initially compiled in 2017 but with a food and drink scene as robust as Central Arkansas, it was high time that we update it to welcome some of our new friends to the area. Start with our extensive guide and find your next hot spot.
ARGENTA
Flyway Brewing Company: Enjoy Monday evening happy hour from 4-9 pm with $1 off 16 ounce pints and half off pretzels.
Four Quarter Bar: There’s not exactly a set happy hour but you can always enjoy $4.50 wells, $2 Lonestar Bottle Beer, $0.75 Highlife Ponies and $2.50 PBR Tall Boys.
Cregeen’s Irish Pub: Enjoy happy hour from 4 pm to close with a different daily deal.
Crush Wine Bar: Stop by for happy hour Wednesday – Friday from 4-6 pm.]
Reno’s Argenta Cafe: Reno’s has daily rotating happy hour specials from 4-6 pm on Monday – Thursday. On Saturday stop in between 11 am and 3 pm for $4.00 Bloody Mary’s and mimosas.
DOWNTOWN/RIVER MARKET
Copper Grill: During the workweek happy hour lasts from 4-7 pm with $1 off well drinks and $5 house wine. Stop by between 11 am and 3 pm on Saturday for brunch and enjoy happy hour prices all day, in addition to $5.50 Tito’s Bloody Mary’s and $3 mimosas. Also on Saturday, enjoy an evening happy hour from 4pm – close.
Fassler Hall: Happy hour is Tuesday – Friday from 3-8 pm. Enjoy rotating daily specials, $1.00 off local drafts and mini chili cheese dogs or mini brats 3 for $6.00.
Samantha’s Tap Room: Stop by Monday-Friday from 4-6 for $1 off all beverages on tap and half off of appetizers when seated in the bar area.
Dizzy’s: This River Market mainstay has happy hour every Tuesday – Saturday from 2-6 pm with $2 off tap beers, wine by the glass, appetizers and burgers.
Dugan’s Pub: On Monday – Friday get $1 off all beers, wines, and wells from 4 to 7 p.m. Also, catch their reverse happy hour on Monday – Wednesday from 10:30 pm to 1 am.
Stratton’s Market: Swing by for a tasting every Friday – from wine, beer, liquor or even craft cocktails, you’ll be in good hands.
Cache: Stop by from 4 to 6 p.m. every Monday – Friday, and enjoy $4 wine and $5 mixed drinks, along with a few beer specials.
Damgoode Pies: Happy Hour is from 4 to 7 p.m. daily. Indulge in half-price domestic drafts, as well as $1 off wine and well drinks for $3.
Heritage Grille Steak & Fin: Newly renovated Heritage Grille holds a regular happy hour Monday- Friday from 4:30-6:30 pm and reverse happy hour from 10:00 pm-midnight. Enjoy their rotating cocktail list, $3.50 draft beers and $4 glasses of wine.
The Library: Come in for $1 off all beers and house wines from 4-6 daily.
EAST VILLAGE
The Rail Yard: Catch happy hour Tuesday – Friday from 3-6 pm and enjoy $2.00 off all beer and wine. Their chicken wings are also $1.00 off.
Rebel Kettle Brewing: Stop by Monday – Friday from 2-5 pm and indulge in several beers for $3.00, $5.00 cocktails and $3.00 cheese dip, cheese fries and pork rinds.
Cathead’s Diner: Breakfast happy hour for the night shifters. Tuesday-Friday 7:00AM-10:30AM – Fromos/Mimosas $3, Bloody Mary $5, Canned Beer $1.50
SOMA
Atlas Bar: Atlas has happy hour Tuesday – Saturday from 3-6 pm. Indulge in discounted draft beers, $6 glasses of select wines and international libations and if you’re hungry grab one of their delicious half-priced dips.
Midtown Billiards: – Legendary Midtown Billiards has rotating specials and .50 off their drinks during their daily happy hour lasting from 3-8 pm.
South on Main: Catch social hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and enjoy $4 craft cans, $5 draft beers, $5 wine and $6 Old Fashioned’s, Moscow Mules, Sazerac and Black Berry Brambles. (These prices include tax, so you don’t have to worry about that 33% mixed drink mark-up.)
Mockingbird Bar & Tacos: Enjoy food and drink specials at Mockingbird Tuesday – Friday from 2-6 pm. Enjoy $2.00 canned beers, $2.50 draft Modelo’s and $5.00 house margaritas. Chips and salsa are 3.50 and queso is $4.50. On Tuesday tacos are $2.50, Grab $2 empanadas on Wednesday and on Thursday try their $6.00 chicken wings.
Ester’s Pub: Ester’s has one of the best vegan food lineups in town and you can also stop by for $3.50 pints, wells and house wines during their daily happy hour lasting from 3-6 pm.
Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom: Enjoy food specials such as, $5 meatballs and whipped feta and $15 antipasto boards. The drink specials are plentiful too with $5 non-premium draft beers, $6 glasses of draft wine, $4 draft prosecco and $4 well cocktails during all day happy hour on Tuesday and regular happy hour Wednesday-Friday from 3-6.
RIVERDALE
The Faded Rose: Stop by Monday – Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. Take $0.50 off well drinks and domestic beers at the bar only.
Maddie’s Place: Enjoy food and drink specials at Maddie’s from 4 to 6 p.m. daily. Take $1 off draft and domestic beers; enjoy $4 house wines, $5.50 well drinks and $2 beers. Stay up-to-date on social media for appetizer specials.
The Fold: Botanas & Bar: Enjoy $5 classic and jalapeno margaritas, $5 draft beers and $3 canned Tecate beers from 3 pm – 6 pm Tuesday – Thursday.
The Town Pump: Happy hour 4:00 to 7:00 pm every day. 2.50 domestics $3.50 draft beers and $1.00 off well drinks.

Pizza D’s: Daily happy hour is from 11am-6pm with $1 off all drinks.
HILLCREST
Hill Station: One of the area’s newest destinations boasts a happy hour daily from 4-6 pm. Specials include $2 off draft beer, wine, well cocktails and appetizers. Also, visit their soda shop from 3-5 pm for deals on ice cream, milkshakes, sparkling sodas and other sweet treats.
Kemuri: From 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm on weekdays, enjoy $5 red and white wine, $5 house sake, a $5 signature drink special, $3 domestic beer and plenty of food specials.
La Terraza Rum & Lounge: Happy hour Tuesday – Friday from 5 to 6 p.m., 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday Brunch happy hour from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Weekday and Saturday specials include $5 house wines by the glass and meja mojito happy hour priced all day. During Sunday brunch Bloody Mary’s, mimosas and mojitos are happy hour priced as well.
Ciao Baci: Happy Hour is from 4 to 6 pm everyday, and includes $1 off wells, red and white wines by the glass, $5 sangria (or mulled wine, weather depending) and a $5 cocktail special. Wednesday is all-day happy hour and in addition to the regular specials is a $5 appetizer.
Pantry Crest/West: Catch Happy Hour from 4-6 Tuesday – Saturday, and from 10-midnight on Mondays, at both locations. Get $3 Pilsner Urquell on draft, $4 wells and a rotating red and white wine selection. Most appetizers are discounted to $5.
El Mezcal Mexican Bar & Grill: Enjoy daily happy hour from 3 pm-close. Specials include $1.99 drafts and margaritas for $3.95.
Proof Bar & Lounge: Stop by Tuesday – Saturday between 4-6pm and enjoy $1.00 off drafts and house wines, $5.00 cocktails and $2.50 domestic bottles and cans of Busch Lite. Indulge in late night happy hour Tuesday – Thursday between 10 pm and 1 am.
THE HEIGHTS
The Pizzeria: Enjoy a late-night happy hour from 10-11 pm Friday and Saturday, daytime happy hour lasts from 5-6 pm Sunday – Thursday. Indulge in $20 select wine bottles, $5 well cocktails and $4 drafts.
Baja Grill: Happy Hour is every day from 2 to 6 p.m. and features $4 house margaritas on the rocks and $6 frozen house margaritas. Take $2 off all specialty margaritas, glasses of wine and signature cocktails. Take $1 off beer, well drinks and tacos. Also, take advantage of Margarita Monday, when all margaritas are $4 or $6 (on the rocks and frozen, respectively) and on Wine Wednesday take $2 off all wine by the glass.
Prospect Sports Bar: Happy hour is Monday-Friday from 3-6 pm. Food specials range from $3-$5 and enjoy $3 well cocktails, select beers priced between $2.50 and $3.50 and house wine for $3.
Sushi Cafe/SC West: Enjoy happy hour at both locations on Monday – Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Large hot sake is $5, house wine is $6, well drinks are $5 and both domestic and imported beers are $4.
Height’s Taco & Tamale Co.: Catch Happy Hour Monday – Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. for the following: $5 margaritas (frozen or on the rocks), $2 off draft beer and wine, and a Salsa Trio + Cheese Dip for only $5!
Boulevard Bistro: Tuesday through Saturday 4:30-5:30 pm enjoy half off on select appetizers and drafts, $2 off wine and $1 off signature cocktails. On Tap Tuesday’s/Industry Night, enjoy half off drafts all night in addition to other specials. On Wednesday indulge in $2 off glasses of wine and 20% off bottles. Thursday is all day happy hour (drinks only) and on Saturday, all bottled beer is half off.
Zaza’s: If gelato is your thing, catch Zaza’s happy hour from 2 to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
Midtown
Big Orange Midtown: Enjoy $5 appetizers, $5 classic cocktails and $2 off draft beer and wine every Monday – Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. Also, catch reverse happy hour on Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. until midnight.
West Little Rock
Big Orange West: Much like the Midtown location, you can enjoy $5 appetizers, $5 classic cocktails and $2 off draft beer and wine Monday – Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Local Lime: Enjoy $5 house margaritas (on the rocks or frozen) and the beer of the week at $3. You can also enjoy $3 guacamole on Happy Hour from Monday – Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Khalil’s Pub: Stop by Monday – Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and enjoy $1 off draft beers, $1 off well drinks, $1 off wine by the glass and 50% off appetizers.
Zin Wine Bar: Enjoy happy hour from 4 to 7 pm daily. Indulge in $2 off select wines and $1 off beers. On Monday’s select glasses of wine sell for $5, on Wednesday there is a $15 wine tasting and Friday if you order a flight and you decide to order an individual glass from the flight, it will be half off.
Table 28: Happy hour is 7 days a week from 4-6:30 pm. Enjoy $2 domestics, $5 drafts, $5 house wines and $5 well drinks.
Petit and Keet: Happy Hour features $1 off domestic beers, $5 house wines, and $5 well drinks. Hours are all day Monday, 4-6 and 8-close Tuesday to Thursday, and 4-6 and 9-close Friday and Saturday.
SWLR / University Park
Trois – The Asher based bar and club features $3 drink specials from 4:30 pm-close.
