Fall weather is finally here. Fall screams roasted marshmallows, patios, and good warm drink. Thankfully with The Fold’s new cocktail menu, you can have it all.
First up, every cocktail menu needs a little fire. The Fold takes you back to campside roasted marshmallows with the Mexican Coffee. It features Patron Cafe Incendio which is a chocolate chili liqueur combined with coffee. The whole thing is topped with a freshly roasted marshmallow and cinnamon.
If that is not hot enough for you, the new house hot toddy is perfect. it starts with a base of green tea and lemon honey, then includes a splash of Old Granddad Bourbon.
To warm up in another way, try the spirit focused Black Velvet. The rum cocktail takes on a deep rich color thanks to the finishing splash of port, then is accented with walnut bitters for a deep nutty taste.
Because we will inevitably have a hot day this fall, the Fold’s bar team is also changing over the house frozen drink to the Honolulu. This one is a gin based drink with St. Germain, Cava, and Pineapple.
On the more standard all around cocktails you can find the Podzim Pearl which uses Becherovka, Luxardo Amaretto, and a splash of orange juice. The Cat’s Meow is going to be one of the most approachable new cocktails that is a pomegranate gimlet using vodka, lime, and POM.
If I had to guess what will be the most popular it has to be the Tinder Date. The raspberry drink uses Lunazul Reposado Tequila, House Made Raspberry-Ginger Shrub, Lime, and a splash of Ginger beer for a colorful presentation that is easy to drink. Just swipe right first and bring a date with you.
The new menu is out now, stop in for a drink.
