It is time for the 11th annual World Cheese Dip Championship this Sunday from 12-4pm at the River Market Pavilions.

While the dip is always important, the most important part of Cheese Dip Championship is the benefit the event gives to Harmony Health Clinic. Harmony Health focuses on bring quality health and dental services to low income and homeless residents of the city. Through events like Cheese Dip Championship they are able to provide no cost health care to medically underserved and uninsured individuals.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids and can be purchased in advance here, or at the door. Your ticket gets you all the dip you can want, plus a drink ticket good for water, soft drink, or beer. Additional drinks are available for purchase along with various cheese dip swag.

Voting will start from a panel of judges including Chris Kennedy and Steve Shuler from here at Rock City Eats, Daron Hall from K Hall, State Representatives Denise Ennett and Ashley Hudson, food competition judging expert Dr. James Myshka, and world travel foodie Denver McCay. The event will also feature a people’s choice where all attendees can vote on the best dip.
