Chicago’s Phillys & Gyros, located in the old Boba Teas & Smoothies spot at 3600 S. University Ave., opened today.
The drive-thru eatery across from the UALR campus features a variety of sandwiches, including Philly Steak (with thinly sliced ribeye steak, grilled onions, and Provolone cheese), Chicken Philly, Buffalo Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Grilled Veggie, and Tropical Ham, among others.
Along with the sandwiches, folks can order the gyro, a lamb and beef mixture topped with tzaziki sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes … as well an all-beef Chicago Hot Dog and a Philly Burger.
All sandwiches are $5.99. Meals including a side and soft drink are $7.99. Other menu items include fries, baked potatoes, fruit smoothies, and sweet smoothies. The kid’s meal ($5.99) is served with fries, a soft drink, and choice of a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, hot dog, or grilled cheese.
Chicago’s even has a $5.99 breakfast option which includes a choice of steak, ham, or bacon topped with onions, peppers, mushrooms, cheddar cheese and eggs … all served on a toasted bun.
