Chef and owner Dream Kasestatad of Pranom Pop-Up will be in Little Rock at Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro on Saturday, April 4 from 12 p.m.-9 p.m. preparing Thai street food in the outdoor patio. Dream is currently on a Thai food pop-up cross-country tour from Los Angeles to North Carolina.
Little Rock’s first India Fest is set for April 19 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. in downtown’s River Market Pavilion. Entry is free. Come out and enjoy Indian food, entertainment and plenty of shopping.

The inaugural Mac ’N’ Cheez Festival is on Saturday, April 11 at War Memorial AT&T Stadium. From the coordinators: “Mac ’N’ Cheez Mania, Little Rock’s inaugural mac and cheese festival, is a fundraiser benefiting missions that serve children, hunger, health and education. This family friendly offers play space and booths for kids (of course all kids love mac and cheese!), yummy tasting, a mascot, t-shirts and some good music at an historic venue that’s covered for all weather and accessibility. Professional teams can register for $40, home cooks can register to participate for $20 and kid cooks 18 and under can participate in the Mac N Cheez cook off for free. Admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 12 and younger.”
“The pop-up restaurant trend is all the rage in cities such as Dallas, Chicago and Kansas City, and Chef Ed and Cuki House will bring a little down-home flavor to this big-city event when they launch their first-ever House Catering Service Pop-Up Restaurant. Starting at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, the Houses will provide a five-course meal with wine pairings for each course at the Junior League of North Little Rock’s headquarters on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16.
