Rumbles: Milano’s Italian Adds a Location, Central Arkansas Library Starts Wednesday Trucks, Geovanny Villagran wins Diamond Chef

Milano’s Italian Grill seems to be adding another location. Thanks to a tip from Colliers Arkansas, who represented the landlord in the transaction, we know they just signed a lease on East McCain in NLR. This would join their Maumelle location as the second in their ownership. The Little Rock restaurant by the same name is owned by another entity.

Central Arkansas Library’s Galleries & Bookstore in the River Market will begin hosting food trucks every Wednesday starting today. This will be a rotating set of trucks beginning with the Minute Man food truck today. Expect them to set from 11-2 each week. To keep up with the schedule follow The Galleries & Bookstore at the Library Square on Facebook.

Congrats to Chef Geovanny Villagran of La Casa De Mi Abuelita Mawmaw’s House for winning the 13th annual Diamond Chef competition last week hosted by Pulaski Tech’s Culinary School.  He won with a Salmón Ceviche with roasted poblano pepper dip and caramelized baby turnips.
