Three Fold Noodle & Dumpling Co to Add West Little Rock Location

Three Fold Noodle and Dumpling Co is looking to expand with a second location according to an announcement today. This would join the downtown location and be the first true second location for the restaurant.

Three Fold opened on 215 Center Street in downtown Little Rock in 2015. It quickly became a favorite spot focusing on their three core items of noodles, dumplings, and steamed buns. After the success of the first location, they moved to a large spot at 611 Main street in 2017. That spot has been continued the success for owner Lisa Zhang, and led to the expansion of a chicken concept, Haybird, back in their original location and plans for a larger concept in Riverdale. While the Riverdale concept never materialized, it did lead to a successful Three Fold mobile expansion, something the team credits with allowing them to make it through the 2020 pandemic.

“We learned a lot in 2020 and luckily made it out thanks to our supporters… we need to put our eggs in two baskets,” co-owner Rebecca Yan says in a statement today. “Our little Mobile location in Riverdale helped save us during the pandemic in 2020. Therefore, we decided to take a risk to build a second “basket” for Three Fold in West Little Rock.”

The West Little Rock market has been a targeted expansion of Three Fold for some time now, and doubling down their efforts on the main concept should keep them successful.

The new location will be in the former Panera space at the Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center. This is a prime spot in that general area that would be a welcome local addition in that part of town. They anticipate renovations to take 6 months and are targeting an early winter opening.

We will continue to provide updates as we get them and a first look closer to time.
